Thoughtfully designed by endurance athletes and iterated by current and former military personnel, LINEAR is rooted in a deep understanding of what performance gear is supposed to do when conditions are unforgiving and fatigue sets in. Every piece of LINEAR gear is exhaustively tested and integrated by some of the most demanding athletes on the planet. From thousands of feet of elevation deep in the mountains, to exposed sandstone cliffs, to soft sand dunes under relentless heat and wind, our gear is pushed far beyond comfort.We test and iterate in the most hostile places possible so that when LINEAR gear arrives at your door, it will not quit or fail. We take an exhaustive approach to material innovation—evaluating next-generation fabrics that often haven’t reached the market yet. LINEAR develops and produces gear using materials that are ahead of release cycles, allowing us to engineer performance without compromise. Many of our fabrics are proprietary and purpose-built specifically for LINEAR.
Every piece of LINEAR gear is treated with some of the most advanced textile applications available, including anti-odor, antimicrobial, and anti-pilling technologies. Our odor and bacterial resistance systems utilize carbon-based compounds derived from volcanic ash—an organic solution engineered to inhibit odor retention and microbial growth at the fiber level.
